Refund & Cancellation Policy

Each tour package publishes its own cancellation terms, set by the operator delivering the trip. This page explains how cancellations and refunds work in general; the policy shown on your package is the one that applies to your booking.

1. Booking Cancellation

A cancellation is effective from the moment we or the operator receive your request through the support channels listed below. Cancelling before departure may affect the amount refundable, because operator costs such as permits, vehicles and accommodation are committed as the departure date approaches.

2. Customer-Initiated Cancellation

You may cancel a booking through your account or by contacting support. The cancellation terms published on the package you bought — for example its Flexible, Moderate, Strict or Non-refundable tier, as shown on the tour page — determine the refund you are eligible for. Review those terms before confirming a booking. [Package-level cancellation percentages to be completed by the business for each published package.]

3. Cancellation by the Travel Company

If we or the operator cancel a trip — because of insufficient numbers, weather, permits, government advisories or operational constraints — you are offered an alternative date, a comparable package, or a refund of the amount you paid for the cancelled component, as permitted by applicable law and the package terms.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation is made relative to departure, whether the amount paid is recoverable from the operator, and any non-refundable components already committed on your behalf (such as permits, entry tickets or third-party reservations). Where part of a booking is already consumed, only the unconsumed portion may be eligible.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method. Bank or wallet credit typically takes 5–7 working days from approval, and the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer. [Refund processing timelines and handling charges, if any, to be confirmed by the business.] We will tell you the status of a refund on request.

6. Changes to Travel Dates

Requests to change travel dates are treated as a modification of your booking and depend on operator availability and the package's change rules. Minor traveller detail corrections may be free up to a stated cut-off on your package; date changes can attract a fee or a fare difference. [Date-change fees to be completed by the business.]

7. No-Show Policy

Travellers who do not join a trip at the scheduled time and place, or who fail to provide required documents at departure, are treated as a no-show. Unless applicable law or the package terms say otherwise, no-shows are generally not eligible for a refund, because costs for the trip are committed in advance.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

Where an event outside reasonable control — natural calamity, government action, roadblocks or a medical emergency — prevents travel, we assess each case on its merits against operator policy and applicable law. Travel insurance covering cancellation and medical emergencies is recommended for every trip. [Force-majeure and goodwill-refund terms to be completed by the business.]
