Privacy Policy
This policy describes how we handle personal information when you browse this website, send an enquiry or travel with us. It is written for an Indian-facing travel business and takes the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and its rules into account.
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. Introduction
Shree Tirupati Tours & Travels ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and helps travellers plan and book tours across India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored and shared, and how you can exercise your rights. It does not create any obligation beyond applicable law.
2. Personal Information We Collect
- Account details: name, email address and mobile number when you create an account or sign in.
- Travel details: traveller information needed to plan a trip, such as dates, party size and preferences.
- Technical data: device, browser and pages visited, collected only where you have consented to analytics.
- Communications: messages you send us through contact or support channels.
3. Information Collected Through Enquiry Forms
When you send an enquiry we collect your full name, mobile number, email address (optional), the tour you are interested in, the number of travellers, your preferred travel date and any message you type, together with the page the enquiry came from. We use this only to respond to your enquiry — typically to call or message you back with a quote. Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or a contract.
4. How We Use Information
- Respond to enquiries and provide quotes you have asked for.
- Deliver, manage and support bookings and travel services.
- Maintain account security and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Improve the website, tours and content, using aggregated insights.
- Send travel offers or marketing only where a lawful basis — typically your consent — applies.
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations.
5. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on systems we or our service providers operate, using access controls, encryption in transit and other reasonable safeguards. Your cookie consent choice is stored in your own browser, not on our servers, and contains no personal details. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We share information only where needed to provide the service you asked for — for example with the tour operator fulfilling your trip, with payment and communication providers, or where we are required by law. We do not sell your personal data. Any third-party service provider is expected to protect your information and use it only for the agreed purpose.
7. Analytics and Advertising
Analytics and advertising technologies are optional. Google Analytics 4 is used only if you consent to analytics and a measurement identifier has been configured for this site; the Meta Pixel is used only if you consent to marketing and a pixel identifier has been configured. Neither loads before that consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie Preferences.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for — including responding to enquiries, delivering bookings, maintaining records required by law, and resolving disputes — and then delete or anonymise it. Enquiry records are retained for [retention period to be confirmed by the business] unless a longer period is required by law.
9. Consent and Withdrawal
Where we rely on consent — for optional cookies, marketing messages or similar processing — you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing cookie consent is done through Cookie Preferences; other consents can be withdrawn by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it took place.
10. User Rights
Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, 2023, you may ask us to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, erase data you no longer wish us to hold, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise your rights on your behalf. You may also grievance-report a concern using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it. Traveller details for minors provided by a parent or guardian for a booking are used only to deliver that trip.
12. Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. Material changes to how we use cookies or similar tracking are also reflected in our consent policy version, which asks you to make a fresh choice.
